5/30, 2:27am, Walk Hill St./American Legion Highway. Driver killed in one-car accident after leaving the road and hitting a tree.
5/30, 7:28pm, Hyde Park Ave./Eldridge Road. Roslindale resident arrested and charged with driving to endanger, leaving the scene of an accident, drag racing and operating without a license, in addition to traffic violations. Suspect allegedly struck a pedestrian on Hyde Park Ave. while drag racing, causing injuries reported as critical.
6/2, 11:30am, 445 Arborway. JP resident Miguel Soto, 23, arrested and charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, assault and battery, disrupting a court proceeding and disorderly conduct; JP resident Luis Pena, 18, arrested and charged with assault and battery and disorderly conduct; a Boston resident arrested and charged with assault and battery, disrupting a court proceeding and disorderly conduct; and a West Roxbury resident arrested and charged with disrupting a court proceeding and disorderly conduct. Suspects were arrested following a fight involving 20 to 30 people in front of the West Roxbury District Court, reportedly family members of the victim and the suspect in the 5/30 drag racing incident.
